Unpack and Repack the
Suitcase
Many women of God walk through their journey of life carrying
heavy suitcases that cause serious injuries to their mind, body, and
spirit. We are most often taught to get rid of the baggage or to
empty the suitcase. However, failure to repack the suitcase with the
appropriate items simply causes one to put the old stuff back into
the suitcase.
Participants will be introduced to some of the heavy items that
may prevent them from experiencing good mental, physical, and
spiritual health. Explore the process of unpacking destructive items
and repacking the suitcase with Spiritual items in order to live a
healthier and purpose driven life.
Clawing Your Way to the Bottom
Babies are barely given time to take their first breath before
they are measured, weighed and evaluated by the doctor. Soon their
parents will begin to compare them to other babies. Who walked
first? Who got into the best colleges? Who got the best job? Who
makes the most money? And on it goes.
Sunday sermons speak of the need to be servants. "The first shall
be last and the last shall be first." Then, in Tuesday’s committee
meeting, the church asks, "How can we be better than the church down
the street? How can we grow, even if it is with another church’s
members? How can we be bigger and better, more trendy and popular
than those other Christians?"
Jesus made it clear who will be greatest in His Kingdom. This
workshop is a serious look at what it means to be a true servant of
Christ. If Christians will redefine their goals according to Kingdom
values, they will learn that what they most need is to "claw their
way to the bottom." It is the humble servant who will be eternally
great.
I Am More Than A Dreamgirl!
Have you felt that you have forfeited your dreams because of the
ministry? Have there been people and circumstances that have
hindered your dreams from becoming realities? Rediscover how to be
independent and interdependent as you pursue a real, fulfilled life.
This workshop will inspire and nurture you to get into the place of
alignment for your assignment both spiritually and in the natural.
Yea and Amen!
Turbulent and troubled times cannot obstruct God’s plan for you.
His eternal promise is that He will never leave nor forsake you. God
still keeps His promises, and His promises are still "yea and amen."
There may be times when you will struggle with the "why’s" of
ministry life, "Why this? Why me? Why now?" This workshop is a
journey back to God’s place of promise for the restoration and
renewal of the hope that is too often crushed by the demands and
expectations of others.
Come and celebrate God’s great love for you, His Child. Come and
be reminded that in spite of the "slings and arrows of outrageous
scorn," in spite of the challenges of living life in the ministry
fishbowl, in spite of broken hearts and wounded spirits, God has not
forgotten you and He still keeps His promises.
